The Santa Fe Award Program’s purpose is to support and offer public recognition of the contributions of businesses and organizations in and around Santa Fe. We offer Medication-Assisted Treatment, Psychiatric Evaluation, and management, IOP, Comprehensive Community Support Services, Individual and Group therapy.

Our mission is to help alcoholic women achieve long-term sobriety in a safe, supportive, structured, alcohol and drug-free environment, through guidance and education. Joining together with other women in recovery provides a powerful foundation for committing and re-establishing themselves as sober, self-respecting members of society.

The Crossroads Foundation is a California non-profit organization offering a residential recovery program for women who are addicted to alcohol and drugs. The Crossroads facilities are located in a quiet residential area near downtown San Diego. We provide home-like atmospheres in a shared community to aid residents in regaining and maintaining sobriety.

To facilitate this mission, we provide a comprehensive range of individualized high-quality services designed to help the women we serve. In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life. 12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous . A number of substance abuse programs use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery.

The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings . CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate.

Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare. Founded in 1957 by a group of prominent judges, attorneys and civic leaders, Crossroads is the first women’s residential recovery program in San Diego County and the second oldest in California. Crossroads is a State of California certified and licensed alcohol and drug program with a long and successful record of serving women in recovery. Positive long-term outcomes have been experienced by hundreds of women served by the Crossroads residential recovery program . Our purpose is to improve and sustain the level of care provided to women suffering from addiction. We offer a transition program in Macon, Georgia to help men who are coming out of other recovery centers.

Motivational Interviewing is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change . Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.
