My Mom started out in Skilled Nursing after falling and breaking several things. We were so satisfied with Colonial Oaks that we wanted her to become a resident. She was able to get in and after settling down, not without some anxiety she is now very content. She loves her new friends n the employees. My mom is very sweet n easy going n in return that is how she is treated. She loves playing bingo n getting her hair done every Tuesday.

They screamed at her and argued with her and never treated her with respect. Not once in over 40 days was I consulted on her progress or her condition. The aide there was insisting that ,y mother remain and never even come home. It was the worst smelly filthy place and it should be shut down.

Your staff has become part of our family." The work we do is defined by much more than just numbers or people…it’s about that feeling you get when someone goes out of their way to make your day.

And another time, she tried to get up -- she shouldn't be getting up because she has fallen and hit her head a couple of times -- and they sent her to the hospital. I don't know if that is normal with somebody with dementia or not. She is in a room with two other people. As far as I know, yes, I would recommend it. From the incredible high moments to those that challenge us, we believe that each day is a gift…and one to be celebrated.

I picked this facility because it was in a small town and has a small town feel. This is important to me because I know my mom is getting the love and attention she deserves. The staff is somewhat different , but they have an excellent staff now! The facility is very warm, clean and loving. I know my mother is being very well taken care of.

She called her brother who then called Colonial Oaks & addressed the problem. She was only then taken to the hospital where she was told that she had pneumonia. She stayed in the hospital for days.

There is one day aid that is very sarcastic and told my mother she needed to stay there instead of going home with me. Colonial was a disappointment on so many level. The physical therapy, people were great, the hair dresser was great, the event co -ordinator was good.
There are a few good, competent employees....just a few. Our comprehensive and holistic care program helps enhance our residents’ quality of life and provides them with a place they are proud to call home. Our first-class facility offers a warm, inviting common area, comfortable dining room, fully-equipped rehabilitation area, and a pleasant outdoor patio for relaxing and enjoying pleasant weather. If you’re searching for a remarkable senior living experience, look no further than Colonial Oaks Senior Living at Spring Hill. I know my mother-in-law has fallen twice when they tried to get her up to go to the bathroom, and they sent her over to the hospital and had her checked over there.
They stole my mother’s clothes and when you report it nothing is done. Do not ever go there you will be sickened by the odors. I saw my mother’s records and they had on her records that she was black and my mother is white . They do not answer their phones and the management never returns calls. It is a horror and I am still trying to figure out how to have this horrible place shut down. The staff turns off all of the lights at7pm and expect the people to go to sleep so they will be bothered.
If my mom has a problem she lets them know and they take care of it. I want to thank Cindy, Clem, Don, Sasha, Renee, Ms Jenny, n Angela many others that I have left out for making my mom feel like she has a family at Colonial Oaks. Our nursing homes and the care we provide are guided by a commitment to resident care and comfort.

My husband is staying right now at Colonial Oaks. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They told me that they only have 15 beds, and I don’t think so. They have more than that, and I thought that he would get the attention that he needed, and it takes an act of Congress to get them to do the things that I needed the most for him.
